Monitoring system for improving the quality of energy in the power supply systems of electricity consumers

S. Krivonogov, A. Romanova

Abstract

The article discusses a system designed to monitor the improvement of energy quality in the power supply systems of electricity consumers. The purpose of the study is to develop our own system for monitoring the quality of electricity to improve the quality of energy in the power supply systems of electricity consumers, identifying their shortcomings. Research objectives: to determine the significant parameters of the quality of electrical energy, to conduct a comparative analysis of models of monitoring systems to improve the quality of energy in consumer power supply systems, to develop the architecture of the system, to implement the functionality of the power quality monitoring system, to analyze the security of the information technologies used. In the work, an analysis of existing analogues was carried out, as a result of the analysis, requirements for the software and hardware complex were developed, which include automatic voltage regulation without operator participation. The proposed software and hardware complex will include an algorithm for efficient power supply to consumers. The software and hardware complex will be developed taking into account factors that allow reducing the cost of purchasing electricity from public networks. When developing the complex, an original structure and a control program for an automated system for controlling the quality of the supplied electricity will be used. The method of empirical research is used in the work. To develop a list of requirements for the software and hardware complex, a formalization and description technique is used. The substantiation of the various means necessary for the implementation of the project was carried out using a descriptive method. This article discusses the monitoring system developed on the basis of the model described in the previous article, which provides a justification for the feasibility of project development, showing the main factors influencing the development of the project.
