The concept of «analytics»

Abstract


This article is devoted to the study of the concept and features of analytics, as a specific form of intellectual-cognitive activity. The article notes that this concept, unfortunately, turned out to be very blurry, distorted in recent decades. The article reveals the essence of scientific discussions around the concept of “analytics”. The authors show the approaches presented in the scientific literature to the definition of the term “analytics”. The author shows the correlation of the concept of “analytics” with the concepts of “intellectual and mental activity”, “analysis”, “science”, “intuition”. The article proposes the author's definition of the concept of “analytics”. The author presents classifications of types of analytic modalities - on the basis of the nature and modality of analytics, on the subject-object basis, on the basis of duration and discontinuity, on the basis of typification. The author considers and shows the distinction and descriptive parameters of analytics: 1) initial teleological parameters, 2) ontological (procedural and methodological) parameters, 3) finalizing parameters; the author discloses in detail each of these groups of parameters. The article discusses in detail the systematic parameter in analytics, the complexity parameter in analytics, and the accuracy parameter in analytics. The author describes analytic toolkits. The article concludes with a section on analytics in legal scientific, expert and other professional activities. The author of the article indicates that the topic of analytic ontology is absolutely necessary to deal with. And it is necessary by common efforts to create a refined operationalable formalized analytics topology.
