The economic benefits of the combined use of BIM-GIS models in the construction industry. Review of the state of the world
Abstract
The aim of this study is to identify the global trends in the use of combined BIM and GIS-technologies in the construction industry for different categories of stakeholders and organizations across the spectrum AECOO-industry interests. These organizations are also planning institutes, and operators, as well as companies which play the role of general contractor in large infrastructure projects with a complex structure such as, for example, projects for the construction of urban and national infrastructures.
